Curriculum

This is a link to the government’s statutory framework, which is mandatory for all early years providers : Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage
Our approach is very much child-centred. Our aim is to enable children to develop as independent thinkers and learners, who are valued for what they contribute as individuals and so promoting a good self image.
The range of experiences we provide are all linked into themes relevant to the children and in which they can be actively involved. Examples of previous themes include Autumn, Patterns, Shapes, Festivals and Growth.
Learning is very carefully planned in line with Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, to include all six areas of learning, structured to address individual learning needs.
We have a positive integration programme for children with previously identified special needs to create understanding, caring and supportive attitudes amongst all the children.
